Every business owner with a team reaches the same moment. You've hired people. You're paying people. And yet somehow — you're still the one carrying everything.
Not because you haven't tried to delegate. Not because you haven't had the conversations. But because something underneath isn't working — and it's quietly draining you.
WHAT BELOW-THE-LINE BEHAVIOUR ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
It rarely announces itself. It creeps in. And once it takes hold, it becomes the new normal.
You might be seeing it already:
• Excuses instead of ownership — "That's not my job", "I didn't know", "No one told me"
• Gossip and complaining — energy spent on friction instead of work
• Passive resistance to change — staff who nod in meetings and then do nothing differently
• Finger-pointing when things go wrong — accountability that stops at the edge of someone's comfort zone
• Victim thinking — a team member who sees themselves as powerless, put-upon, or perpetually unlucky
• Silent sabotage — not loud enough to address directly, but corrosive enough to stall every initiative you try to move

And then there's the longer game. A team that doesn't hold itself accountable creates a culture of learned helplessness. Staff stop growing. Good people leave. The owner becomes the ceiling — and the business can't grow past them.
That's the real risk. Not just a bad quarter. A business that only works when you're in it.
One 90-minute session.
Clarity on what's really happening in your team.
And what to do about it.
Anita Schneyder has spent 15 years leading teams and helping business owners understand why their people behave the way they do. This session goes beneath the surface — past the symptoms — to the underlying dynamics that drive team behaviour.
You'll leave with a clearer picture of the roles your people are playing right now, why they're playing them, and the practical steps you can take to start shifting the dynamic toward genuine accountability and ownership.
Four things you'll have by 9:00 am:
Clarity on the specific team dynamics that are costing you the most — named, not vague
An understanding of why people behave below the line, and what conditions allow it to continue
Practical tools to help your team members shift their mindset and take real ownership
One concrete action to implement immediately — not a to-do list, a next step

TEAMS, PURPOSE & LEADERSHIP — THE FREEDOM ENGINE
Anita is a former accountant with over 15 years of leadership experience — including as a General Manager in the wine industry. She's led teams through growth, change, and the kind of cultural friction that most owners don't know how to name.
She's passionate about bringing humanity into the workplace — and that means being honest about what's really going on inside a team, not just what shows up on the surface.
Anita creates environments where leaders gain genuine clarity: about their people, about the dynamics at play, and about what needs to shift. Her approach is practical, grounded, and built for business owners who are tired of managing around the problem.
A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and currently completing a Master's in Social and Organisational Leadership, Anita brings both hands-on experience and academic depth to every session she runs.

"Anita's training was thought-provoking and allowed us to apply the principles using real-life examples. Since the training, there has been greater alignment between us all — and improved transparency and communication across the whole team."
